The Program
Fountain of Life Ministries presents a comprehensive and impactful Fatherhood Empowerment Initiative designed to support and uplift fathers within our community. The initiative aims to equip men with the tools and resources necessary to become responsible, engaged, and effective parents. This program is a part of our broader mission to build sustainable families and strengthen community ties. Achievements
The Dads Care 2 program has demonstrated significant success over the years, positively impacting numerous families and individuals:
- 2008-2009: Youthville supported 12 single dads, totaling 157 participants annually.
- 2010-2014: GPCOGIC assisted 10 single dads, totaling 125 participants.
- 2014: State of Kansas SDSK supported 60 families, totaling 465 participants.
- 2015: Child Start/Head Start supported 75 families, totaling 600 participants
- 2015-2016: KMH assisted 20 dads each year, totaling 330 participants annually
- 2017-2018: Mensbuilders/BGC mentored 17 teens annually totaling 200 participants in 2017 and 180 in 2018
- 2019-2023: DC2/FOLM supported an increasing number of single dads each year, from 150 in 2019 to 200 in 2023.
These achievements highlight the program’s growing reach and effectiveness in fostering responsible fathers and stable families by teaching men about their roles and responsibilities in the family.
